Just happens that some thugish family moved up the street from me. Hate section 8, f-ing government.. thanks for waisting my hard earned $$.
So anyhow, Daddy drives an old hotrod Ford Maverick WOW and Jr an old Datsun 210 flat back. They always stare when I drive by them in the Z. Well now one of their friends has been coming around in an beat-up custom red Z32 NA.
So last night I came home from a little ride and pulled up to the side so I can get the Xterra away from the garage entrance and left the Z running.
Get the X out of the way and 2 of the thugs approch me and it goes something like this:thugs: you whass up?
me: not much, what's going on?
thugs: that's a Z right?
me: yes
thugs: nice wheels, how deep is your dish yo?
me: 10" rear, 8.5" front
thug 1: wha is tha mean?
me: that's how wide the wheels are
thug 1:oh, any mods?
me: no just wheels.
thug 2 (NA owner I think): is it a turbo?
me: no
thug 2: mine is, yours looks nice, did you repaint it?
me: salvage car, got it at a yard. my friend and I repainted it
thug 1: nice job, you do that for living?
me: no, my friend is
thug 2: where he works?
me: dealership
thug 1: what yo got unt=der the hood?
me: all stock NA motor and it goes on for about 20 mins, until I had to cut them off and say, shit what time is it.. Celtics game, got to go guys.. later.
So now I have to worry about these two punks going shopping in my garage, good thing both doors are alarmed.
Anyone ever had to lie about their Z?
